Friends & the Farm!

Last week, our sweet friends who are currently serving in Rome came to visit! The Karrs are in the States for a few months to rest and visit with friends and family. They graciously agreed to pack up their two little girls and drive all the way to north MS from GA to come hang with us and share with Lifepoint.  Our church has partnered with their team in Italy and will begin taking short term trips there in 2013! Well, little did the Karrs know when they arrived that the stomach bug had hit and was in full swing at the Brewer house. I'll spare you the messy (very messy!) details, but let's just say we ALL had the bug at some point before their visit was over! Fortunately, we did have a day of everyone feeling good before they left, so we had to go out with a bang! We all piled in the cars and headed to Cedar Hill Farm! I thought the Karrs with their precious girls, Nolyn and Ellie, might like the farm because they are normally surrounded by tall buildings and pavement in Rome. I was right! We all had a BLAST!!

The pig races! So funny!
Checking out all of the animals!

G rode this horse all by himself! We weren't even walking beside it...He absolutely loved it!

Sweet Nolyn
Hayride! G still talks about this! I think he would have stayed with the driver all day talking about the tractor and it's big wheels :)

Though we had a trying week with the stomach bug, we had a great time hanging out with our friends! Gideon, Nolyn and Ellie loved playing outside together and the late night dance sessions and story times were priceless. Ellie particularly had a love for wearing Gideon's shoes :) We are so thankful for their family and their willingness to drive over! The Lord is using them in a mighty way in Italy and we are blessed to have the opportunity to join in too!
P.S. You can't even tell in these pics, but Kyra is pregnant with baby #3 and will deliver while in the States! Please pray for a safe delivery and smooth transition back to Italy!
