With Spring in full swing, there have been quite a few community wide events for families and little ones. When we heard about a free Easter egg hunt, we were all in :) This wasn't just an egg hunt, there was also a petting zoo, pony rides, free snacks, pics with the Easter bunny, and bounce houses. Gideon was definitely too little for most of the events, but he loved the petting zoo and bubble field.

There had to have been over 500 parents and kiddos in Gideon's age group alone! Whoa!
Most of the kids went crazy, dashing all over the field and scooping up as many eggs as they could possibly find. Gideon got three eggs, sat down, and contently played with his three eggs, while the older kids continued scavenging the field :) Gotta love him!
After the hunt, we headed to a nearby park to play and eat lunch.
