What a weekend!! Our wild weekend started with an amazing dinner with our good friends, Pam & TA. Gideon kept us entertained by singing his favorite song "Get Rhythm" by Johnny Cash (over & over!), and showing off his crazy dance moves! Charlotte enjoyed some sweet lovin' from Pam too!
That night, a bad storm came through our town. Matt and I were actually awakened by a huge crack of lightening, which we thought had hit our house. As we began inspecting the house to see if there had been any damage, we saw our neighbor's house up in flames! Matt and I called 911 & ran over to make sure our neighbor wasn't in the house. Luckily, she was out of town. We are incredibly thankful that she wasn't harmed, though her house was left completely destroyed.
Only about an hour after the last firetruck left, Matt was up and headed to Coldwater to work the Lifepoint booth at Trade Days. The kids and I joined him later. G loved looking at all of the animals and "helping" blow up balloons.
Sunday, Charlotte and two other babies were dedicated to the Lord during a special service. It was a time of public commitment to leading & training Charlotte in the way of the Lord, through teaching and modeling the Word in our home. What a weighty honor it is to be a parent! We pray that the Lord will soften her heart to His Word and draw her to Himself early in life.
A few pics from that afternoon... Sweet Charlotte has some crazy faces!
She has found her toes...and apparently they're mighty tasty!
Matt's parents & grandparents made the drive down for the special service too! We had a good time catching up with them!
Sunday night, we had a cookout with our Lifegroup at our house! It was a great time of fellowship with new & old friends, good food, and even a moon bounce for the little ones :)
G got to play in it today too! I think he actually does more tripping and tumbling around than bouncing, but he seems to enjoy it!
