February Fun!

With February came the arctic tundra, but we still managed to have some indoor fun! On one of the coldest days, we loaded up in the car and delivered hot chocolate packets to our neighbors. Gideon really got into it because he was my big helper slipping each packet into the mailboxes.
Speaking of cold, let's talk about blue lips...Yep, Charlotte had several instances where her lips would turn blue/purple. Though she acted fine, we had been told at a previous check up that she had a slight irregular heart beat. Those two issues put together were enough for me to take her to the dr. to get it checked out. After our regular pediatrician examined her, he sent us to a pediatric cardiologist for further testing. I was shocked at how calm I was, but I really had a peace that everything would be alright. After an EKG and ultrasound on sweet Charlotte's little heart, the doc said she looked perfect and that it was just a random thing. YAY!
This frigid weather gave us a couple of snow days as well! One in particular, we spent at the Brewers. Matt and Gideon bundled up and played outside while Charlotte and Maggie had girl talks on the kitchen floor!
Valentine's Day was a blast too! We did tons of crafts and spent the morning delivering Valentines to our buddies around town. That night, we had a fun dinner at the Brewer's house too! As for my Valentine's Day present...Matt got me tickets to Wicked at the Orpheum!! Seriously, we were on the second row and every moment of it was amazing!
I included a few pics of our study of the letter P because my pirate and princesses were just too cute not too! We even received a package from Nana & Pop that day!
Last, but not least, we had a fun family date night with mexican food, frozen yogurt and a couch side viewing of Cinderella! I'm so thankful for our little family!
