After our Disney day was over, we headed to my parents' house for a couple weeks of fun with Nana & Pop! The kiddos were ready to jump in the pool as soon as we pulled up to their house and I'm pretty sure they swam every day from then on! I guess their pool was a pretty big step up from the two foot kiddie pool they'd been used to at our house! We were on full alert when they were swimming because these two daredevils were quick to yell, "Hey! Watch this!" mid-jump, giving you just enough time to turn around to catch them. Their cousin, Luke, wasn't a huge fan of the water, but got in just long enough for a pic with C!
We also went to the farmer's market in downtown Venice each Saturday morning. The produce and yummy baked goods were irresistible! Lucky for us, there were samples everywhere! We may or may not have gone back for seconds at the mini-donut stand :) The downtown area has tons of cute shops and a splash pad as well. Each Saturday, after our shopping and sampling was complete, we would stop at the splash pad to cool off. After one especially hot morning, we made sure to stop at the Nokomis Orange Groves for some delicious orange sherbet! Seriously, best treat ever.
