One date night, two sweaty kiddos, three horses, and lots of wild animals!
That pretty much sums up the first couple weeks in September :)
Yes, Matt and I were able to sneak out to one of our fav restaurants, P.F. Chang's, while G & C had a slumber party with the in-laws. That delicious dinner was followed up with two pints of ridiculously over priced Ben&Jerry's Phish Food ice cream...totally worth it because we didn't have to share with two scavenging kiddos! (Sounds greedy, but seriously-they can smell a piece of chocolate-shoot, anything with the slightest amount of sugar in it,-a mile away and are pouncing on it before I can even get the wrapper off! Tell me you can relate!?)
Then, there are the horses. Not ours, but their owners are leasing our land for them and we've kind of fallen in love with them. There's a huge Belgian horse appropriately named Samson, and two rescues; Donte and Luna. They are sweet, especially when we've got carrots and apples in our hands ;) I love the pics of Matt and Gideon building the new gate together. Daddy, tools, and being outside are G's top three favorite things!
No post would be complete without a fishing pic! This time Charlotte caught a few, with Papa's help!
Lastly, one of our many Zoo trips. Since we got our membership, we have been wearing the Memphis Zoo out! There's so much to see that the kids are never bored! Such a fun family date :)
