If you know much about our family, you know we can't stay indoors for long. We are enjoying exploring new parks and taking advantage of warmer days, you know...anything about freezing :) We just bundle up with lots of layers, snow pants, and boots, and get to it. Our friends tell us that this winter hasn't been nearly as bad as the past few, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to spring!
One of our favorite parks is Eagle Creek Park. It's huge and has loads of hiking trails, playgrounds, and a lake. We have even seen deer close up both times we've gone on trails! G & C had more fun throwing rocks into this creek than anything.
After our first big snow, around 6-7 inches, we got sleds and hit the biggest hill we could find at a park just down the road. We all had a blast! C wasn't a fan after getting a face full of snow on one ride down, but she's warmed back up to it now :) After a morning of sledding and hiking back up that hill over and over, we were all whooped and ready for some hot chocolate!
